Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Firebase (a Google service) for authentication, secure data storage, and database management. Data shared with Firebase includes emails, usernames, photos, captions, and geolocation for family sharing features. Firebase does not use this data for advertising. Users can delete accounts to remove data from Firebase.

Third Parties. We share personal information with third-party service providers for operational purposes, such as Google Firebase for authentication, secure storage of photos/captions, and database management. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and do not use it for their own purposes beyond providing services to us. We do not sell or share your data for advertising or marketing.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). Geolocation data is retained for 6 months after account deletion to comply with legal backups.

In Short: Our Services are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions).
Park Memories is intended for family use but not specifically for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable laws. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. Parents can contact us at [email protected] to review or delete their child's data. COPPA requires operators of websites or online services directed to children under 13 to provide notice and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from children.
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time. California has enacted laws requiring recognition of opt-out preference signals like GPC (Global Privacy Control), which we honor where applicable.
