🔐 Login Problems

Symptoms: Cannot sign in, forgot password, account locked

4. Frequently Asked Questions

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Profile > Settings > Account > Delete Account. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except for backups which are retained for 6 months for recovery purposes.

Is my family's data private and secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted and stored securely via Firebase. Only your designated family members can see shared memories. We never sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Can I use ParkMemoryHub without location services?

Yes, location services are optional. You can still capture, edit, and share photos without enabling location. However, you won't be able to use location-based features like the Memory Radar or automatic location tagging.

How many family members can I add?

You can add up to 20 family members to your family group. This includes parents, children, grandparents, and extended family members.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Your memories are safely stored in the cloud. Simply install ParkMemoryHub on your new device and sign in with your account to access all your family memories.

Can children under 13 use the app?

Yes, with parental consent. We comply with COPPA regulations and require verifiable parental consent for children under 13. Parents maintain control over their child's account and data.

How do I export my memories?

Go to Profile > Settings > Data > Export Memories. You can download all your photos and captions in standard formats (JPEG for photos, JSON for metadata).

Why do I need to grant camera and photo permissions?

Camera permission is required to capture new photos within the app. Photo library permission allows you to save edited photos and access existing photos for sharing. These permissions are essential for the app's core functionality.
